Transcription: Joints are the contact points between bones of the skeleton. They are divided into three categories. Sutures or fibrous joints, cartilaginous joints and synovial joints. The connective tissue in fibrous joints is made of collagen fibers which permit little to no movement of the bones to which they are connected.
